Everything we get asked
If your question isn't here, ask — we'll add it.
Is the $500 really one-time?
Yes. There are no monthly platform fees. The only ongoing cost is your domain renewal (~$10–15/yr), billed to you directly by your registrar.
How long does it take?
Most sites are live within a week of you sending us your info. We'll commit to a launch date in writing once we kick off.
Can I edit the site myself after launch?
Yes. We build on Sanity, a real content management system. You log in to a simple editor to change text, swap photos, and update services — no code, no developer needed.
What if I need more than 3 pages?
We'll quote a flat add-on before we start. Most small business sites fit comfortably in 1–3 pages, but if you need more, we'll work with you.
Do I really own everything?
Yes. Code goes in a Git repo you own. Hosting runs on a Vercel account registered in your name. CMS access is yours. You can take it anywhere — we don't lock you in.
Is hosting really free forever?
Yes. Vercel's free tier covers small business websites comfortably — bandwidth, builds, SSL, all included. If your traffic ever grows past the free tier, you'd pay Vercel directly (still no fees from us).
What about the domain?
Not included. You register one in your name (~$10–15/yr) at any registrar — we can help set one up in Vercel, or point you to a good one and configure it. Keeping the domain in your name means it's yours, period.
Will I show up on Google?
Yes. Every site ships with proper SEO: page titles, meta descriptions, schema markup, XML sitemap, and submission to Google Search Console at launch. Ranking depends on your niche and competition, but you'll be findable.
What if I need changes after launch?
Small text and photo changes you handle yourself in the CMS. Larger redesigns or new features — we'll quote a flat rate up front. No surprise hourly bills.
What stack do you use?
Next.js for the website, Sanity for the content management system, Vercel for hosting. All industry-standard, used by serious companies. Any developer can pick up the codebase.
Why so much cheaper than an agency?
Agencies charge for overhead—project managers, meetings, and retainers.
We focus on one thing: building a great website, fast and at a fixed price.
No bloat, no drawn-out timelines.
What's not included?
Domain registration, paid stock photography, ongoing copywriting, custom integrations beyond a standard contact form, and e-commerce. If you need any of these, we'll quote them flat up front.
